EA Institute of Welding Cohort 1

Introduction

The East African Institute of Welding is a technical welding institute in Kenya dedicated to promoting welding excellence all around East Africa. EA Institute of Welding is an Approved Training Body (ATB) of the International Institute of Welding (IIW), an international body that seeks to achieve harmonization in the training, examination and qualification testing of welders around the world. The EA Institute of Welding is getting it’s ATB charter from the Southern Africa Institute of Welding (SAIW) headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa.In addition, as the official agent E.A agent for Nexus Quality, (the official African partner of Quality Co) we offer Inspection and quality control services as Quality co is an agent and Authorized Examination Center of American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), American Welding Society (AWS), American Petroleum Institute (API), and The Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC) training and certification programs.
We are a vocational welding training institute dedicated to bringing international standard practical training that uses competency-based education and training (CBET) program.

Our Services

Welding Courses

A welder is a mechanical trades worker who joins metal parts together by applying heat. A permanent bond is created between the parts when the metal is melted and fused. Welders use hand-held or remotely controlled equipment to fuse and cut the metal parts.

Inspection and Quality Control Services

In partnership with Nexus Quality, the official African partner for Quality Control Co., the EA Institute of welding facilitates diversified activities  for Inspections and Quality control,  such as NDT, specialized NDT, Welding Inspection, Painting inspection, quality control training and certification programs .

Training and Certification

The East African Institute of Welding is a leader in competence based welder training in the East Africa region to globally certified standards. In partnership with Nexus Quality, the official African partner for Quality Control Co., the EA Institute of welding facilitates training and certification programs for Inspections and Quality control

Upskilling Programs

The Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) A state agency mandated to confirm the authenticity of academic documents has announced that it will recognize certificates issued to Jua Kali trained artisans who pass practical tests conducted by various authorities.
