The East African Institute of welding is a technical Institute that seeks to achieve harmonization in the training, examination and qualification testing of welders in the region to International best practice according to the International Institute of Welding (IIW) standards. The Institute uses Competence Based Education and Training through a dual learning approach ensuring a smooth transition to Industry for workplace training and providing quality mid-level manpower services. We offer short courses to National (TVET CDACC) and International Certification (ISO 9606) accredited by the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB). The program is presented in three distinct levels which are progressive- Fillet, Plate and Pipe welder.
